Preamble:
I love the Widowmaker AO at Webb Bridge Park. It's a great place with a great group of guys. Likewise, I've really enjoyed posting at the Storm AO that is Ruck only from Halcyon. Since the Yard in Lawrenceville provides a good established Saturday beatdown for Gwinnett, and since there is a lot of growth happening in North Gwinnett near Sugar Hill/Suwanee/Buford… I thought it would be good to try a Ruck only AO in this part of the county. Not sure it will stay in one place (or even 'stay' at all) but it is an easy opportunity to introduce FNGs to F3. It provides for the Fitness, the Fellowship, and Faith.

With 2 FNGs committing to show up, I made sure that the route would be safe and challenging for all.

WARM-O-RAMA
No Warmup today. 6am hit. Disclaimer and head out.

THE THANG
The route I chose I knew had some hills and mostly sidewalk. Head out from Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center parking lot and take right on sidewalk that runs parallel to Plunketts Road. Eventually find sidewalk. Hang a right on Hwy 20. Left on 324. Right on Mall of Georgia Blvd. Cross over Hwy 20 and stay on sidewalk until the staircase to Ivy Creek Trail just before the Courtyard Hotel.

Wow this trail is great!. Nice asphalt trail that runs alongside Ivy Creek. Never been on it before. Follow trail all the way back to the Heritage Center.

Sitting at 5.8 miles, FNG Stockholm made us do a down and back through the parking lot to round-up to 6 miles.

COT
Prayers for our families. Prayers for Birdie/Youtube's dad traveling.

NAKED-MAN MOLESKIN
Good to have two longtime friends be FNGs this morning. I've been twisting their arms for a long time. Hope that they enjoyed it and come back again. It doesn't get easier, but you get stronger.
