YHC grabbed the Q evening before in order to make sure The Coliseum didn't start in a hole for Val's challenge, plus I needed a little motivation to get after it on Monday after some bad weekend eating habits and maybe a few *ahem* oat sodas (cold beers for the uninitiated). This go round thought it would be interesting to come up with a theme for the BD, little "hey Alexa what is Monday May 24th" she responds "Monday May 24th is National Brother's Day". So Bro time it is. Dug into the Exicon and below is the result…

SSH x 15
Weed Picker x 10
Windmill x 10
Imperial Walker x 15

THANG 1 – Bearmuda Triangle
Three cones setup roughly 20 yards or so apart in the shape of a triangle. At cone stop one PAX performs one burpee, traverses to the next cone via bear crawl and then performs two burpees at next cone, more bear crawls and three burpees at third. Rinse and repeat that pattern for what I think was about three rounds…. good start.

THANG 2 – Ring of Fire
Six stations setup with each PAX starting at a different station. Donkey kicks, Squats, Lunges, Shoulder Taps, Step Ups, and Merkins were the order of the day. PAX stayed at each station for one minute each and then rotated to next station, went for slightly over two full rotations through each round of 6. YHC used the new WODtimer I downloaded and was pretty effective with the EMOM count, still some learning to do on the settings. Used Bulldog's "Workout Your Faith" Pandora station for the background music.

You down with OPP, yeah you know me. PAX partnered up with PAX 1 in the People's chair (wall sit) performing an overhead clap. Other PAX was down in plank position performing 25 plank jacks, and switch. Completed three round with plank jacks replaced in the next round with Peter Parkers (some confusion on the definition here) and then Pickle Pointers.

Finished up with a Captain THOR together, 1 BBSU:4 American Hammers. Completed the full section all the way to 10:40 – great work by the whole crew on this one.

Coming back to our Theme of National Bro-THOR's Day (little play on words…):
B – Bearmuda Triangle
R – Ring of Fire
THOR – Captain THOR

Prayers (and praise) for Gilligans' daugther's graduation, family travels and spending time together. Glad to be back to some sense of normalcy in the world now and getting folks back together in a real kind of connection way. (Also Gilligan is having like 50 people at his house so prayers for that gathering and that his pellet grill holds up – he'll get the joke – love you man). Prayers and guidance for all the counselors coming in for Camp All American and they get the opportunity to lead right over the summer.

In reviewing the Exicon it is noted that when a train passes and you hear the whistle and PAX perform 10 burpees it is actually called the "Old Town Pain Train". #nowyouknow
